Youth Conference 2012: Have your say

Youth Conference 2012 will be held in Newcastle on 23-24 June.

For more information about Youth Conference, including details of how to register, please go to: www.labour.org.uk/youthconference2012

Have your say!

Youth Conference is an exciting opportunity for you to make your voice heard.

At this year’s Youth Conference, young members will be discussing ideas for the next Labour Party manifesto and be choosing Young Labour’s first ever priority campaign.

Whether you can join us in Newcastle or not – we want to hear from you about what you would like to see in the next Labour Party manifesto and what Young Labour’s priority campaign should be.

How you can get involved:

1. Submit your idea for the Young Labour priority campaign through the form below by Thursday June 14th at 12pm.

2. The Young Labour National Committee and the NPF Youth Reps will review all submissions and recommend a shortlist based on numbers submitted and range of topics.

3. Youth Conference will debate the different campaigns and vote on which one will become Young Labour's priority campaign.

4. All ideas will also be submitted to the National Policy Forum of the Labour Party and will be made available to attendees of Youth Conference for their consideration during policy workshops.

5. Those policy workshops will then put their big idea for the next manifesto to the wider conference, where all attendees will get the opportunity to debate and vote on them.

6. All the ideas that Conference approves will then be put forward as Young Labour’s proposals for the next Labour Party manifesto.

If you have any questions about the process or Youth Conference please email younglabour@labour.org.uk

Just fill in the form below and let us know what you want the first ever Young Labour priority campaign to be by Thursday June 14th at 12pm.
