World Athletics Championships great news for London and the UK - Harman

Harriet Harman MP, Labour’s Shadow Culture, Media and Sport Secretary, commenting on the announcement that London will host the 2017 World Athletics Championships, said:
"This is great news for London and the UK. It is a tribute to the UK’s sporting reputation and the passion that athletes and supporters around the UK have shown for this bid.
"It will allow us to build on the Olympics legacy and ensure that after 2012 the UK stays on the map for tourists around the world."
