Over 160,000 people have now called on the Government to drop the Health Bill
The Government’s own website says that a petition which gets “at least 100,000 signatures will be eligible for debate in the House of Commons.”
We cannot let them ignore the calls of tens of thousands of people who care about our NHS.
Please take just a minute to co-sign the letter (below) and ask David Cameron: “Where’s my debate?”
Dear David Cameron,
Tens of thousands of people who care about our National Health Service have signed a petition on the Government’s own website calling on your Government to drop the Health Bill.
Your website says that a petition which gets “at least 100,000 signatures will be eligible for debate in the House of Commons.”
I am asking you to make clear straightaway that you will be true to your word and will bring forward a debate in the House of Commons on the subject of dropping the Health Bill.
Your Bill would force a free market free-for-all on our NHS and would divert billions away from patient care at a time when pressure on NHS resources is greater than it has ever been.
Tens of thousands of people have made their voices clear and now it’s time to hear from you, Mr Cameron.
Please let us know when you will be bringing forward this important debate in the House of Commons.
Yours sincerely,
