Tooting Islamic Centre
Today the Foreign Secretary David Miliband and local MP and Transport Secretary Sadiq Khan met with local community leaders at the Tooting Islamic Centre. At a round table discussion, David Miliband answered questions on domestic and foreign policy over lunch.
David talked about the importance of Britain in the world and his experiences visiting over 50 countries around the world during his time in office.
The vice chair of the Balham mosque and Tooting Community Centre, said what an honour the visit was and pledged his support for local Labour MP Sadiq Khan.
