About Steve Bick

Steve Bick was born in Weymouth in 1961.

He attended Weymouth Grammar School.He qualified from Birmingham University in 1984 as a doctor.

 He also holds the Diploma in Geriatric Medicine (1986) and is a Member of the Royal College of GPs (1988).

He has been a member of the BMA since 1984. Medical interests include drug dependancy,orthopaedics, minor surgery and training.

He is currently the Senior Partner at Dorchester Road Surgery, Weymouth (GP).

Steve has been a Labour Party member since 1986,initially Young Socialists then Labour Students and local party.

He was selected as PPC for West Dorset in 2007.

Steve's policy interests are the economy,health service, jobs, and strengthening local communities. His other interests include football ( a referee),walking, swimming, gardening and painting.
