On the Campaign Trail: Brighton

hh5Today I met up with mums, local residents and all the Labour candidates in Brighton and Hove - Celia Barlow, Simon Burgess and Nancy Platts - to talk about just how much the next election is a choice - a choice between a Labour Party that protects frontline services, backs up ordinary families or a Tory party that would only take care of a privileged few.

I then had coffee with a group of women who work in the voluntary sector, like many others they were worried about Chris Grayling's recent remarks about LGBT people.   David Cameron's inability to stand up for equality within his own Shadow Cabinet shows that the Tories have not changed.
