Join the debate on overseas development

This week Gordon Brown said that a lack of progress in some areas of the Millennium Development Goals constituted an international emergency.

He called for an international effort in helping to ensure these goals were met and this week we are putting the spotlight on the Labour Government’s role as a global leader in tackling poverty.

Join our online discussion and add your voice to the global message – that more needs to be done to tackle global poverty.

Tackling childhood obesity

Childhood obesity is an issue which threatens the health and well being of our country and as such Labour is campaigning for more action from parents to help improve the diet and lifestyles of our children.

The Prime Minister, along with Labour’s Schools Secretary Ed Balls, visited a school breakfast club to see how action is being taken to improve our children’s futures.
