My Political Waffle

waffle1I visited the 'Parliamentary Waffle House' in Broadwick Street. I met owner Sam Bompass who explained how waffles are linked to the General Election.

He told me that the store was born out a joint love of waffles and party politics. They've designed the waffles irons to produce waffles in the shape of the Parliamentary portcullis.

The venue opened allowing voters to express their political preference though choice of waffle. You can choose Labour (raspberry), Conservative (blueberry) or Lib Dem (banana) and enjoy your choice with a glass of 'Prescott Punch'. Ken Livingstone has already paid a vist.

The Waffle House is holding events up until May 6th, including screening the Leaders' Debates.

This may not be politics and its most serious - but its definitely a fun way to show your support for Labour!
