Michael Connarty represents the seat of Linlithgow and East Falkirk, which stretches from Boghall to Greenrigg to Grangemouth.  Michael holds surgeries on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings across the constituency and details can be found on his website and advertised in the local papers.

Michael was first elected to the East Falkirk seat in 1992 and was then elected to the new seat in 2005 which combined Linlithgow and East Falkirk .

A former teacher then leader of Stirling Council, Michael is a well-respected backbencher who chairs the European Scrutiny Committee in the House of Commons.

Michael takes particular interest in the energy, oil and gas sector.

Michael is married with two children and three grand children and lives in the constituency he represents.
