Lilian has lived in and around Nottingham for over 17 years and worked in the city for public sector trade union, UNISON, from 1992 until the General Election.

She is an experienced advocate and organiser who has campaigned successfully on a range of issues such as anti racism; better pension provision; increased funding for the NHS and workers' rights.  

She is married and has 3 daughters who were all born at the City Hospital and attend local state schools.
