Downing Street's statement an admission Ministerial Code not adhered to - Murphy

Jim Murphy MP, Labour's Shadow Defence Secretary, said in response to Downing Street’s statement on the Ministerial Code:
“This is an admission that the Ministerial Code has not been adhered to. The Prime Minister must now take the necessary and right course of action and refer this investigation to the independent adviser on Ministers’ interests.
“Liam Fox refused to answer questions in the House of Commons and his hubris is a hindrance to establishing the truth. His statement raised more questions and the Prime Minister should demonstrate a commitment to transparent government.”
