Miles Coverdale Primary School

Labour’s Deputy Leader Harriet Harman joined Andy Slaughter, the candidate for Hammersmith, on a visit to a local primary school and Shepherds Bush Market today.  

At the Miles Coverdale Primary School, Harriet and Andy spoke with two dozen local parents, teachers, and administrators about the issues facing Hammersmith and the entire nation in the upcoming elections.  In particular, funding for schools and tuition support.

They toured the school, meeting kids in classrooms and listening to an African acapella song performed by a student singing group.  After the visit, I spoke to the head teacher - Tara Baig.
