Saturday 2 June saw Gordon Brown and all the Deputy Leader candidates visit Glasgow for the Scottish hustings event.

Margo Gray, from Ochil & South Perthshire CLP who attended the event commented: 'I thought the level of debate and openness of the hustings was excellent.  I am really pleased that Gordon Brown will be the next leader, he will make an excellent Prime Minister.  And whoever wins the deputy leadership I am confident that the new Labour team will be ready to take on the Tories whenever the next General Election is!'

Margo was one of over 300 guests from 48 Scottish CLPs who attended the event.  Questions asked ranged from how best to campaign against the SNP, UK-wide issues on security, crime and anti-social behaviour to international issues on tackling climate change.
