Labour held its East of England Regional Conference this weekend in Stevenage. The Conference, held from Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd, was attended by around 150 Labour members and supporters from all over the East of England focused on the importance of winning the next General Election.
The main rallying call was led by Labour’s Deputy Leader Harriet Harman MP.
Labour’s Deputy Leader Harriet Harman MP said:
“I was delighted to come to Stevenage and speak with Labour supporters who came to the town from all over the East of England.
“One thing in particular was very clear to me from the Conference: in all of our communities right across this part of the county, the Tories represent the change that ordinary people can’t afford.
“Labour is fighting back in Stevenage for the council elections next year as well as for the General Election.”
