Fringe Information
![]()
'Fringe' is the term used for all the non Labour Party activity that takes place outside the conference hall. Organisations from the private, public and third sectors host a range of seminars, debates, receptions, workshops and training sessions. These events take place both in the main conference site and venues across the host city.
It's a great opportunity for organisations to reach a wide audience. Conference delegates, commercial visitors, MPs and other key decision makers make for lively and dynamic discussion on a huge range of topics.
How do I arrange a fringe event?
Book a space
Organising a fringe event is straightforward. Once you have an idea of the style of event, target audience and logistical details, such preferred day and time you can submit an online fringe request form. Space in the main conference site (also known as the secure site or the island site) is in high demand so we recommend you submit your fringe requests as soon as possible.
We are also able to offer fringe space outside the main conference site or you can make your own arrangements with venues in the host city.
Order your requirements
Once your space is confirmed, we can help you organise all aspects of your event and successfully promote it. If you have booked space with us, you will receive via e-mail a link to book all your additional fringe requirements, such as listings and booking of audio visual equipment. If you haven't booked space with us, please just give us a call to discuss any other ways we can assist with your event.
Advertise and promote
Whether you have booked your space with us or directly with a venue, you may be interested in the many advertising opportunities available to promote fringe events before and during conference, including:
- Listings in the conference magazine
- Larger adverts in the conference magazine
- Listings on our conference website
