HOW TO GET INVOLVED AS A CHARITY OR NOT-FOR-PROFIT

With high profile bodies such as NSPCC, Age Concern, MIND and RNIB amongst the organisations that have had a presence at Conference, charitable and not-for-profit organisations have many opportunities to raise their profile, promote their cause and be involved in debate on the leading issues for the third sector

FRINGE
The ‘fringe’ is the term used for all the non Labour Party activity that takes place outside the conference floor. Hundreds of organisations host a range of training sessions, seminars, debates, workshops and receptions across the main conference site and the host city more widely. It is a great opportunity for organisations from the third sector to reach a wide audience.
Booking space and equipment for your event has never been easier and we have a range of opportunities for you to advertise your event before and at conference. We know that you must justify the value secured for every penny you spend, and we strongly encourage you to consider the sponsorship you could secure directly from your supporters to fund such an event. ADVERTISE
Whether you are looking to promote your organisation or advertise a specific event you are organising at conference, there are many advertising opportunities for charities and not-for-profit organisations, including:
- A print advert in the conference magazine
- A specially promoted fringe listing
- Poster and banner adverts in the main conference site

Please note that registered charities are not able to make donations to political parties so sponsorship opportunities are not available to these organisations. For further information on the regulation of political donations, click here.
EXHIBIT
Many charities and not-for-profit bodies take a space in the exhibition halls as one element of promoting their organisation at conference. This can be an opportunity to sign up new members or donors or raise the profile of a specific matter important to your organisation.

If you want to consider a smaller and cheaper space, we are very happy to receive applications for shared stands from organisations so please contact us to discuss your needs.
Send employees as visitors
You may not be interested in having a permanent presence at Conference, but make sure you look at our discounted pass options for charity visitors to Conference and send your key employees along for a day or the full week
