This year the BNP succeeded in getting two MEPs elected at June’s Euro Elections. This was achieved despite no real increase in the number of people voting for them.

Over recent years we have seen the BNP seriously contest council election across the country and now have over 50 Cllrs elected to town halls.

Labour has set up a new taskforce to lead the party’s fight against the BNP. This new taskforce is being led by the Party’s Deputy Leader, Harriet Harman MP.

Our aim is to use professional political techniques such as targeting and message research against the BNP.

We have already made a start in modelling the pattern of BNP support but we need your help to continue the work.
