Douglas Alexander MP, Labour's Shadow Foreign Secretary, responding to today's IAEA report on Iran, said:
“The threat that a nuclear armed Iran would pose to Israel, to the wider stability of the region and to international security as a whole is deeply concerning and warrants urgent and concerted diplomatic efforts. That is why the IAEA report today is so deeply concerning and cannot and should not be ignored.
"But while there will be some that will attempt to now claim that diplomacy has failed, the international community must remain resolute in its commitment to both tighten sanctions and work - through the present talks - to secure a change of approach from Tehran."
