Yesterday In the Campaign visited two London hot seats with Home Secretary Alan Johnson.
First up was a visit to meet with Gerry Ryan, candidate in Croydon Central where the race has come alive with Gerry taking on both the current and former Conservative candidates due to a split in support locally.
Alan met with local party members and spoke proudly of Labour achievements in cutting crime and boosting community safety, with measures like CCTV.
After a quick dash across south London, Alan next stopped in on another Alan, Alan Keen, in Feltham to walk the streets in the town centre and meet shoppers and staff in the local Asda supermarket."
